Lime Rock: Pole and a podium for Romain Dumas

With an experienced eye on the weather conditions and meteorological forecasts for the practice sessions, Romain Dumas was able to grab another overall pole position, and so started from first place in the race run on the unique Lime rock circuit.

He led for the whole of his stint, even pulling out a comfortable lead ahead of his nearest competitors and then handed over the car to his team-mate for the second part of the race. But Timo Bernhard could only manage to cross the finish line in second place, being unable to resist the attacks by Ryan Briscoe, who profited from the safety-car interruptions to first get up to second place and then to take the chequered flag in first place.

So Romain was again on the podium, in second, and maintains his lead at the head of the American Le Mans Series with 107 points.
