Front row for Romain Dumas in
Detroit
Ryan
Briscoe (Penske Porsche RS Spyder No 6) was fastest in the qualifying session
around the Belle Isle Park circuit. Timo Bernhard, Romain Dumas’ team-mate in
the No 7 car, set second fastest time, just 0.246” slower than pole position
time. So the two men will start the race from the front row of the grid. The
race is set to last 2 hours 45 minutes around the street circuit, overtaking
will be difficult, so strategy will be all-important..
