A third victory at the Nürburgring

Last Saturday, at the wheel of the Manthey Racing Porsche and having set pole position time that same morning, Romain Dumas won his third consecutive at the Nürburgring. He was in the led of the race during his first stint in the car, and crossed the finish line also in first place during his second period behind the wheel and also set fastest lap during the race. His two co-drivers for this bit of overtime in the German VLN championship were Marcel Tiemann and Arno Klasen. With two wins in this championship plus the victory in the Nürburgring 24 Hours race means that the Nordschleiffe has been a happy hunting ground for Romain this year.
